The Faith United Church Youth Choir has grown in number and in spirit over the past two years.
Children as young as 5 and as "old" as 16 have sung with this energetic group, singing songs of praise from traditional and contemporary hymns, to hip hop and funk arrangements of spiritual standards like "Swing Low Sweet Chariot, " and "Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho."
The Youth Choir sings during the worship service every few weeks and rehearses regularly on Sunday mornings, just prior to the service from 9:50 to 10:20 am.
We have a great time in rehearsal and in worship! Please join us! Questions?

Youth Bell Choir
A Youth Bell Choir was instituted in the summer of 2001, under the direction of Myra Smith.
The Youth Bell Choir performed in church last year at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and a few other times, ending with an outstanding performance on Youth Sunday.
The choir started small and has grown to about 12 "ringers", and more are always welcome.
The youngest ringers in the choir are in first grade, which is unusual for church bell choirs- but they do great as long as the bells aren't too big!
The oldest ringers are of high school age. The ability to read music is not necessary- just the ability to count.
For the fall, we are going to do an arrangement of James Weldon Johnson's "Lift Every Voice and Sing" along with some standard hymns like "Abide With Me" and would love to have new members.
The choir rehearses at 6:30 on alternate Wednesday evenings during the school year.
