Children and adults alike participate in and benefit from the vibrant lessons and activities offered by Seasons of the Spirit because, more than a curriculum, Seasons of the Spirit is a resource for the entire congregation.

As its very spiritual and forward thinking publishers tell us "the lectionary passages of the Bible and rhythms of the church year provide the basis for learning, worship and service.  The theme of the day resounds in music, visuals, sermon, banners, vestments story, liturgy and ritual, as well as content.

We have seen these exciting and positive claims to be true here at Faith United Church and agree with one of the Seasons of the Spirit test churches who raves that "Seasons of the Spirit moves Sunday School into a different realm where teachers become facilitators rather than fonts of all knowledge and children are enabled to turn a dusty work of ancient stories into one that is refreshingly dynamic and relevant to today's experiences."

Come join us to experience all the different Seasons of the Spirit!  Sunday School for ages 3-18 years meets during the 10:30 am Sunday worship service.  We all begin worship together and during the singing of the second hymn the children and youth gather together with their facilitators to engage the Holy Spirit in the learning and doing of God's word and work.

For children under 3 years. (including infants) who are too young to participate in Sunday School, childcare and activities for toddlers are provided in our "Tot Room" under the supervision of paid childcare providers.
