Rev. David Hughes
Born in Glens Falls, New York (between Saratoga and Lake George in the foothills of the Adirondacks),
Reverend Hughes went on to attend Williams College, in Williamstown, MA. graduating in 1975 with a B.A. in History.
He received his seminary training at Andover Newton Theological School, graduating with a Master of Divinity in 1978.
Rev. Hughes has served churches in Medford, MA., New Fairfield, Ct., and has served as Pastor of Faith United Church since the fall of 1997.
He was attracted to Faith United Church because of its unique location, situated on the boundary between the city and the suburbs.
Since coming here, Reverend Hughes has enjoyed the church's deep commitment to Christian Education, its long history of excellence in the Music Program, its passion for reaching out to the wider community, and its deepening sense of fellowship and diversity within the church family.
Rev. Hughes and his wife Deb live in Springfield with their two college-age children, Miranda and Adam.
