First as a Congregational Church, and then as a
United Church of Christ, Faith United Church is a church that has
historically served the community, inside and outside of its church
walls. As such, Faith United Church and its Ministerial staff invite
you to call us and inquire about our church community and having your
wedding in our beautiful church home, or having your child baptized with
us.
Baptism is performed during the Sunday worship
service and reminds each of us how important it is to embrace children
and raise them up in the service of the Lord.
Faith United Church is committed to honoring the
complete cycle of Christian life. In
keeping with this commitment, the Ministerial staff helps plan and
officiates at funerals and memorial services for members, friends of the
church and for those who may not have planned for the eventuality of
leaving this life to enter the next.
Faith United
Church Memorial Garden
The Trustees of Faith United Church have
established a Memorial Garden as a service to our members, present and
future. The Garden provides
a dedicated space where remains of loved ones can be safely placed and
protected. The Garden
maintains a low profile and is primarily for church members and
families. An appropriate
Honor Roll with nameplates of those entombed in the Garden is displayed
in the church.
